The Ghana defender has lauded his debut performance for the Blues against Tel Aviv and wants his compatriots to support him in order to succeed in England.
Chelsea left-back Abdul Baba Rahman says he is happy with his debut game after playing the full throttle in a 4-0 drubbing of Israeli giants Maccabi Tel Aviv in the Uefa Champions League group stage on Wednesday.
The 21-year-old joined the Premier League champions from German team Augsburg last Month but had to wait four weeks to play his first match under manager Jose Mourinho.
The former Greuther Furth defender says he is satisfied with his debut outing with the Blues but wants to win trophies with his new club this season.
"It was great, the supporters and the stadium were very nice," Rahman told Chelsea TV.
"The team played a good game and the most important thing was the win and that�s what we did. I think I can adapt more but I leave it up to the coach to judge my performance.
"I�m very happy to be here. If I push hard I can make it and enjoy myself here. My main aim is to play as many games as I can. I�m really working hard to keep the momentum going.
"Last year, Chelsea won the Premier League and I�m itching for us to win it again, and also do well in the Champions League, the FA Cup and the Capital One Cup. We want to win as many trophies as we can," he added.
Baba also revealed that Ghanaians should rally behind him so that he can make them proud. �If the people in Ghana keep supporting me I can make them proud.�
Baba has been capped 13 times by Ghana, playing all the matches with the Black Stars at the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations in Equatorial Guinea.
