Justice Dery�s Substituted Service On Anas Granted

A Fast Track court has granted an application for substituted service filed by a judge, Paul Dery against investigative journalist, Anas Aremeyaw Anas. Lawyers for the judge told the court on Tuesday, Anas and his investigative team Tigereye PI have been unavailable in their offices to be served the two writs, although all other defendants have been served. Justice Paul Dery on September 14, 2015 filed a writ of summons and an interlocutory injunction seeking to stop Tuesday�s premier of the video, which allegedly captured him and other judges, taking bribes. Today�s ruling means that Anas would be deemed to have been served the writs when it is posted on the doors of the offices of Tigereye PI and on the notice board of the High Court. The ruling may also prevent the premiering of the video until after the interlocutory injunction is heard.
