If My Grand Mum Is Happy About My Stories, Then Im GoodI Dont Care About Critics Anas

To Anas Aremeyaw Anas detractors, any amount of foul words and dislikes on his undercover works doesn’t matter to him or destruct him in anyway.

According to the most notorious investigative journalist, his aim is to name, shame and jail culprits – but not to please anyone with is undercover works.

“I don’t really care about what people say…at the end of the day, does my work benefit society?” he questioned on “Jefferson Reports” hosted by Ghana’s Jefferson Sackey.

Asked if he is concerned when people question his style of journalism especially from some senior Ghanaian journalists – the legendary Anas Aremeyaw Anas said – “Look my brother, call me anything you want to call me. There is no point in doing journalism that doesn’t benefit the society.”

Even before Anas would release his most talked about judicial bribery scandal investigation, he had earlier told Jefferson that – “I don’t do journalism for the critics…I do it for the people.”

“I want to ask myself, is my grand mummy in Bimbilla [Bimbilla is a small town and is the capital of Nanumba North district] happy about the story I have done? If she says yes then I am good,” he added.

He claims that - “My journalism vibrates because people see the impacts.”
