CIMG Awards: Starbow Wins Coveted Domestic Airline Of The Year AGAIN!

Starbow, the most preferred airline was adjudged the best domestic airline in Ghana for the year, 2014 by the Chartered Institute of Marketing Ghana for the 2nd time in a row.

In an interview with the media, Chief Executive Officer of Starbow, Mr. James Eric Antwi, said he was extremely excited the airline has won this coveted award consecutively considering the challenges the company went through in the year under review. 

“I dedicate this award to our customers who have faith in us even in these challenging times and all the staff of the company who have been committed to the cause of the company all these years," he said.

He also used the opportunity to pay a glowing tribute to the shareholders of the company for their unflinching support.

The event was held last Saturday at the Banquet Hall, State House, and Accra. This particular event category was initiated in 2013 and Starbow won the maiden award. Again, in 2014 Starbow has retained this award.

Starbow currently operates domestically from its Accra base to Kumasi, Takoradi, Tamale and Sunyani

Starbow airline this year received approval to fly into seven countries in the sub-region, including Burkina Faso, Cote d’Ivoire, Sierra Leone, Guinea, Nigeria, and Benin and is currently working feverishly to start its sub-regional operations with Liberia.
