Kwofie Matthew Rides High Despite Malicious Agenda By Some NDC Executives

Attempts by some constituency executives of the NDC in the KEEA constituency of the Central Region to sabotage Kwofie Matthew who is one of the aspirants seeking for endorsement of the electorates as the Parliamentary Candidate of the party for the KEEA Constituency in the 2016 elections has hit the snag as the grassroots, especially the youth of the party in that constituency have sent out a clear message on their most preferred candidate among the three aspirants. This position taken by the grassroots seem to be against the wishes of some constituency executives including the constituency chairman, JOHN QUAICOE popularly known as Chairman Wontumi Ntake and the Constituency Organizer Egya Mahama known in real life as Francis Kofi Adams both of whom have maintained that Matthew Kwofie doesn't have money. Chairman Quaicoe , Egya Mahama and the Central Regional Director of Elections for NDC Hon. Asiedu maliciously granted an interview to the Daily Graphic which was published on page 17 and 19 of the September 25th edition in which they, under the guise of error reduced the number of aspirants successfully vetted for the KEEA Constituency to two (2) and cleverly left of the name of Kwofie Matthew who obviously is the most preferred choice for NDC KEEA Parliamentary Candidate for 2016. It is widely rumoured in that constituency that Chairman Wonntumi Ntake together with his Organizer have been compromised to support a particular candidate with financial rewards. Kwofie Matthew who is branded KM with JM for the 2016 general elections in an interview with ATL FM in Cape Coast articulated his vision and intentions for the party people in the constituency when given the nod. He said high on his agenda would be connecting the party to the grassroots thereby making every party member feel special, needed and involved. He rejected the claim of factionalism in the constituency and said what the party lacks at the moment is a well thought out strategy to galvanize and move all it's members and supporters towards a particular direction. When quizzed about what exactly he meant by HOME BOY as has become a part of his campaign message, Kwofie Matthew explained that he was born and bred in the constituency. He said he had lived his whole life in the constituency and has been with the people and served them his whole life. He is likely to face stiff opposition from Frances C. Asmah. Matthew Kwofie was the constituency secretary of KEEA NDC prior to his resignation to contest in the primaries and is widely tipped to win on NOV. 7TH when KEEA NDC decides.
