Dirty People Make Politics In Ghana So Dirty - Kabila Bites CPP

James Kwabena Bomfeh, former National Youth Organizer of the Convention People's Party (CPP), has expressed disappointment in some leading figures in his party regarding the party's national delegates congress.

Kwabena Bomfeh Jnr, who was aspiring for the General Secretary position in the CPP, lost out to Nii Armah Akomfrah over the weekend.

Giving an account about the national congress, the CPP man was disgusted at what he terms as the "damage" which was done to his personality by his contenders.

According to him, the "dirty politics" in Ghana must come to an end.

This is because he expects to be defeated in a principled and genuine way but not in the fashion that his opponents displayed in the congress.

Over 2000 delegates converged at Sunyani to hold its national delegates congress.

James Kwabena Bomfeh competed with Nii Armah Akomfrah and Kosi Dedey.

Speaking on Peace FM's "Kokrokoo", he contested the argument that people have been saying that "politics is a dirty game" because in his conviction; "it is dirty people who make politics so dirty."

He advised that politicians should be sincere in the political game.

"I believe we can have clean people who at least can be sincere. They will be sincere in their politics. If in this our small way, we cannot even be sincere with ourselves and are ready to label people who have sat at our Central Committee for 8 years, then is our party really serious?” a clearly irked Kabila quizzed.
