NDC Communications Director Appeals To Government To Pay Black Queens

Fred Agbenyo, Communications Director of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), has appealed to the Government of Ghana and the Football administration to pay allowances owned the Black Queens.

Currently, the female team players are left in the mercy of the management of the M-Plaza Hotel where they are lodging and awaiting the payment of their allowance.

Speaking on Peace FM's 'Kokrokoo', Fred Agbenyo bemoaned the inability of the football administration to ensure the payment of the monies due the Black Queens.

According to him, the female players should be accorded the same respect and attention that the GFA and government give to the Black Stars.

Also addressing the issue on 'Kokrokoo', Kwesi Pratt in this instance called for the GFA to be changed to the "Black Stars Football Association" since they disregard the Black Queens and other sporting disciplines.

He also wants the GFA to give maximum premium to the Black Queens and pay up their accumulated allowances for winning gold for Ghana.
