Mario Balotelli’s ex-girlfriend is to release a debut single about her turbulent relationship with the AC Milan striker.

The song, to be released on the Def Jam Recordings label famous for representing Kanye West amongst other major hip hop and urban stars, will be dedicated to their time as a couple, the Daily Star reports.

The Belgian model became engaged to Balotelli in 2013, but the pair eventually split in September last year.

Fanny has now begun a new love story with West Ham United’s Cheikhou Kouyaté, but it is clear from her activity on social media that she has not forgotten the sorry end to her relationship with Super Mario.

In response to a Tweet Balotelli posted, saying: “What have I ever done to deserve never having experienced true love?”, Fanny hit back with an Instagram video in which she borrowed a line from Labrinth’s ‘Jealous’, “You just jealous of the way, I am happy without you.”

The video has now been deleted, but the story will almost certainly not end there. Fanny announced on Instagram that she is currently in the studio in Paris putting the final touches to a full song which will be released within the year.

“Def Jam think they are on to a winner with Fanny. Not only is she beautiful but she can really sing,” a Star source said.
