The 23-time league champion�s activities appear to have been slowed due to unsettled issues within the club. Asante Kotoko have admitted frustration at the current state of uncertainty within the club. This follows recent development about a change in personnel, specifically regarding the club�s general manager position as well as the coaching role. According to reports, general manager Samuel Opoku Nti has been given his marching orders by the owner and life patron of the club, the Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, with the appointment of Dr. Kwaku Frimpong of Champion Divine Clinic imminent. Former Black Stars and Bayern Munich defender Samuel Osei Kuffuor has also been speculated as a possible successor. However, Nti keeps dismissing his sacking: �I have no idea what they are talking about. I am still at my post.� The club�s coaching job has also been in the news with Danish trainer Tommy Moller Nielsen exclusively revealing to Goal he�s been given the mandate to replace David Duncan. �I've signed for Kotoko and will be in charge but my vision at the club is to win more games and trophies to make the supporters happy,� Nielsen said. However, Duncan maintains he�s still at post and has even reportedly submitted a list of transfer targets ahead of next season.
