Footballer David Accam has donated items worth thousands of cedis to the New Life Nungua Children�s Home International in the Greater Accra Region. The donation, was done on his behalf by some members of his family, and was a special birthday present from the footballer, who turned twenty-something this year, to the facility. Officials of the facility thanked the Chicago Fire star�s family for the gesture, and promised to put the items to good use. A useful exercise, it will go a long way to help the facility, which depends on such gestures from the public, to survive. Accam is a member of Ghana�s national team, and has consistently featured across tournaments. He has earned a call up for Ghana�s upcoming international friendlies against Peru and Canada on October 9 and 13 respectively, his MLS side confirmed this week.
