We Need To Rebrand Our Local League - George Afriyie

Chairman of the Black Stars Management Committee, George Afriyie, believes rebranding of our football will regain confidence in the eye of the populace. He is of the belief that football all over the world has gone down and through rebranding and proper positioning, peoples confidence can be regained. Again, George Afriyie reiterated the need for our local league to be attractive. Football has gone down all over the world and we have to rebrand that image to regain the peoples confidence. "Also, first of all, we need money to run our local league and how can that be achieved? We need to position ourselves well to the sponsors so it will be attractive enough to earn more sponsors, he said. George Afriyie, pulled 11 votes as he seeks a second term on the executive committee of the Ghana Football Association but was shocked at some big names who failed to secure the required votes.
