The Country’s largest Waste Management company Zoomlion Ghana Limited and it’s affiliates have been cleared and endorsed by the World Bank to participate and bid for projects which will be funded by the World Bank.
The World Bank Groups integrity compliance office at Washington DC wrote formerly to Zoomlion, releasing the company from the debarment which was placed on them 2yeras ago. This development means that Zoomlion has satisfied the conditions and standards set by the World Bank and now eligible to work with them.
Commenting on the release of the company, the Executive Chairman of Zoomlion and it’s affiliates Dr. Joseph Siaw Agyepong said the corporate compliance process the company went through has brought a robust corporate code of ethics and integrity policies and procedures which now remain a hallmark of the company’s operations across Africa and further beyond.
He stated that every fast growing company is bound to face challenges but it is the responses to such challenges that determine whether or not the company will survive. He was very grateful to God, Management and staff of Zoomlion, the government and people of Ghana for their tremendous support during the challenging times.
With the high level of integrity and transparency shown by the company, he believes the sky is the limit he added.
