Countryman Songo, Presenter of Fire for Fire on Asempa FM has lambasted President of the Ghana Football Association (GFA) Kwesi Nyantakyi for ruining Ghana's local league and the football discipline in the nation.

Speaking on Peace FM's Kokrokoo, the renowned Presenter avowed that the GFA Boss will not help the country's sporting disciplines and so called for his dismissal.

According to him, after 10 years of the GFA Boss' reign in the football administration, Ghana's sports keep deteriorating.

Countryman Songo therefore made no bones about Kwesi Nyantakyi's incompetence, saying emphatically that he (Mr. Nyantakyi) "cannot turn things around in Ghana’s local league. He only needs the sack. We are plunging ourselves into darkness; dark days. We have to rise up.…What new thing can he do?”

When asked by host Kwami Sefa Kayi why the GFA Boss keeps winning the bid to head the Association; Countryman Songo held strongly that the GFA "environment is polluted. It stinks. So, you can’t come and compete. It’s not fair. The level is not fair to compete with Kwesi Nyantakyi, the level is not fair.”
