My Name Is Now Abubakari Sadique - Says Daasebre Dwamena

Highlife musician, Daasabre ‘Ahoufe’ Dwamena has revealed that he used the eleven months he spent in prison to learn sliding door fabrication.

The musician speaking on Asempa FM said he intentionally learnt the profession just to while away time in the British prison, where he was incarcerated for drug trafficking.

Despite this knowledge, the musician says he has not practised the trade since his release.

“I however repair my own works in the house…I don’t employ anyone to fix my sliding doors in my house when they become faulty…,” he said.

The musician who is a Muslim convert and goes by the name, Abubakari Sadique insists he was set up with drugs but after several months of legal battle in Britain, he was set free.

He admonished his colleague celebrities to stop putting their trust in people and instead tread carefully ‘so that they don't suffer the same fate as me’.

Ghanaian actress, Naomi Kumiwaa Banafo who also shared her experience on how she was set up with drugs leading to a one year prison term in the USA also advised celebrities to heed the advice.
