Alhaji Gruzah Backs Sammy Kuffour To Succeed As Kotoko General Manager

Bankroller of King Faisal football Club Alhaji Gruzah has urged impending Kotoko General Manager Sammy Kuffour to succeed at the Club. Kuffour is set to be named the new General Manager of the Club after holding talks with the Clubs patron Otumfuo Osei Tutu. The former Black Stars defender will be replacing Opoku Nti who failed to guide the team to retain their League title. Kotoko could not defend their MTN FA Cup trophy after losing to Medeama SC in the finals. The team was also booted out in the second round of the CAF Champions League by Algeria Club MC Eulma. Otumfuo after meeting with the ex-Ghana international is set to appoint him (Kuffour) as the new General Manager of the Club. Gruzah, who remains one of the Godfathers of the former Bayern Munich star has backed the former AS Roma defender to succeed in his reign as the teams General Manager. Kuffour is my own son, I think this is an opportunity for him and he should try and do well with Kotoko, he spoke to Peace FM. He should try and appoint good people to work with and also choose good people to advise him. I wish him good luck. Kuffour began his playing career with the King Faisal football Club where he got the opportunity to feature for the Ghana U17 team in 1993.
