NDC Vetting In V/R: 2 Members Seek Disqualification Of David Dzreke For Forgery

There is a looming problem in the ruling National Democratic Congress’s (NDC’s) World Bank, Volta Region as Zenith Law Consult has petitioned the Vetting Committee and the party’s Volta Regional executives to disqualify the Managing Director of Assembly Press, David Kwame Dzreke for forgery.

According to the law firm, two NDC members Mr. Dzorkpui Wilson at the Dorglobo-Ziope branch and Mr. Emmanuel Ashiabi of Honugo branch in the Agotime-Ziope Constituency have instructed the law firm to petition the Vetting Committee, the Constituency, Regional and National Executive to sanction Mr. David Dzreke.

The NDC Executives have been petitioned because Mr. David Dzreke who is aspiring to contest Agotime-Ziope Constituency has forged the signatures of two party members who they claim have not met the aspirant neither do they know him.

It has been stated in the petition that the action of Mr. David Kwame Dzreke is fraudulent and as such violates the requirement clause E (2) of the NDC’s “Guidelines for the Election of NDC Parliamentary Candidates for the 2016 Parliamentary Elections”.

Meanwhile, vetting in the Agotime-Ziope Constituency is suppose to end today, October 9, 2015 and it is therefore the request of the NDC branch members to press on the Vetting Committee to disqualify Mr. David Dzreke for forgery of their signatures.

The two have insisted on the Vetting Committee to disqualify the Assembly Press MD as others who committed the same offense have been booted out from the contest; stressing it is only this action of the party executives which will ensure fairness in the contest.
