Another indigene of the Ashanti state has unleashed a scathing remark about her tribe describing Ashantis, as people full of evil.
First came that of former Attorney General and Vice Chairperson of the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC), Betty Mould- Iddrisu, who in an address to party supporters in the region revealed that she feels pain to be associated with Ashantis.
After her declaration went sour, she apologized and stated that “I am a true Ashanti and would not turn my back on my heritage.
But latest to descend on the Ashanti tribe is Madam Akua Donkor, who is the founder of Ghana Freedom Party (GFP).
As Ghanaians, we are groomed not to denigrate the home we come from in public, but Madam Akua Dokor has defied the status quo by claiming Ashantis are full of evil thoughts.
As an indigene of the Ashanti state, she stated on Okay FM that she finds it difficult to comprehend the magnitude of senseless acts that emanates from our region.
“I don’t know if it an ancestral curse from Okomfo Anokye...Ashantis are full of evil thoughts and we must refrain from it”, she said.
