Most People Are Impatient; Ghanaians Inclusive... - Prez Mahama

"Majority of people in all countries are impatient", this is an assertion that President John Dramani Mahama holds and emphatically believes Ghanaians are of no exception.

Speaking in an interview with DW TV's "Conflict Zone", President John Mahama recounted that his administration is making tremendous strides in improving Ghana's economy.

According to him, a major turnaround is happening in the economy, under his leadership.

Though he admitted on the Television programme that there are economic challenges, President Mahama assured that his government is working assiduously to resolve the crises.

I’m not denying the economic challenges we have been through but the turnaround is happening. And if you look at the reports that we’re getting currently, the consolidation (fiscal consolidation) is beginning to take place. The currency is stabilizing…Inflation is slowing actually. The rate of rise of inflation is slowing, so that turnaround is happening.

When probed further by the host Tim Sebastian about what has accounted for the impatience of Ghanaians towards his administration, President John Mahama answered; “Majority of people in all countries are impatient. Even here, in the developed world in Europe, people are impatient. Everybody is impatient.
