Prof. Adei Will Meet Us In Parliament - MP

“… and I think he will have to meet us in Parliament to point to us those who are thieves, those who are criminals and the basis of those very very serious allegations” says Member of Parliament for Adansi Asokwa constituency, K.T Hammond.

His comment comes on the back of a remark made by former Rector of the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA), Professor Stephen Adei.

Professor Adei who was addressing guests at the 40th anniversary celebration of the SAPs school in Accra said some MPs shamefully go to the extent of demanding additional bribes to cater for their girlfriends.

This remark did not go down well with the Adansi Asokwa legislator as he hints the Professor will be hauled before Parliament’s Privileges Committee to defend his claims.

“…The constitution gives everyone the right of speech but it is also the case that your right terminates at the place where my right begins. The Professor has completely overstepped his boundaries, … and I think he will have to meet us in Parliament to point to us those who are thieves, those who are criminals and the basis of those very very serious allegations” he noted.
