Prez Mahama Talks Like A Hired 'Serial Caller' - NPP MP

NPP Member of Parliament for Efia constituency in the Western Region, Joseph Cudjoe has said President John Dramani Mahama lacks communication etiquettes – rather he talks like a hired 'serial caller'.

President Mahama suffered the wrath of the lawmaker who together with other members of parliament who have seeked judicial review of the law that restricts government from further expansion of oil and gas free port at Atuabo in Takoradi by British firm, Lonrho Port.

But the president while inaugurating that Atuabo Gas Processing Plant in the Western Region blamed the five MPs: Kwaku Kwarteng for Obuasi West, Kwabena Okyere Darko for Takoradi, Mavis Hawa Koomson for Ewutu Senya, Efia MP, Joseph Cudjoe and Kofi Brako for Tema Central for delaying the project by the 'needless' suit.

In an interview with NEAT FM’s morning show 'Ghana Montie', Joseph Cudjoe however told host Kwasi Aboagye that – the president’s comments was 'unfortunate'

According to him - the president's reaction to the issue sounded like a “serial caller who spoke without the facts.”

He explained that - their intension for the judicial review is to ensure there is value for money to ensure their constituencies also benefit from the project.

“We support government’s effort at giving Western region two ports but we don’t support killing one port to establish another,” he noted.
