Daughter of the former first family, Dr. Zanetor Agyemang Rawlings has said even though her parents backed her political ambition - they are not part of her campaign team.

According to the Korle Klottey Constituency Member of Parliament aspirant, her dad, Former President John Jerry Rawlings and mom, Nana Konadu Agyemang Rawlings might not be invited to her campaign launch which is slated for October 18.

“My parents are not invited to my campaign launch,” she told Kasapa FM.

Asked why – Dr. Zanetor said she is yet to decide on her parents involvement in her campaign – “I might send them an invitation. I am not sure about that though.”

Dr. Zanetor Agyemang Rawlings however called on all to support her vision for the constituency – she also counseled her competitors to desist from politics of insults.
