Ghana defender Abdul-Baba Rahman will make his much anticipated premier league debut for Chelsea today after being named in Chelsea’s starting lineup against Aston Villa.
The Ghana international will get his opportunity to impress following an injury to Branislov Ivanovic while he was on duty with Serbia.
Mourinho initially hinted the Ghana international might be drafted in for the game against against Villa earlier in the week and has taken the bold step of handing the former Asante Kotoko man his premier league bow.
The highly rated left back joined Chelsea in the summer and has only made two appearances for the English Champions.
