Ex-Hearts Goalie James Nanor Wants Club To Sack Duo Tetteh Lugard And Mutawakilu

Former Accra Hearts of goalkeeper James Nanor has urged the Club to offload duo Tetteh Lugard and Seidu Mutawakilu.

Nanor who has revealed his desire to take up the role as goalkeepers trainer at the Rainbow Club has asked management to release the duo who performed poorly last season.

The pair are already reported to be on the transfer list after failing to impress in the domestic top-flight last season. Hearts had to rely on experienced goalkeeper Soulama Abdulai who was caught up by international duties in most occasions.

Nanor who mounted the post for the Phobians in the early 2000’s has called on management to axe the two goalkeepers.

“I think Hearts should release Tetteh Lugard and Mutawakilu. For me they did not do well for Hearts last season,” he told Starr FM.

“Is not the matter of height but what you can do and I think both goalkeepers did not do well for the Club.” “I will advise them to go in for Stephen Adams because he was one of the best goalkeepers in the League.” Hearts will be making some new inclusions after putting 15 players on transfer.
