NPP’s Hackman Owusu-Agyemang is running for his life – reason is because he has been threatened by some unknown individuals for his involvement with some NPP gurus to suspend NPP’s National Chairman, Paul Afoko.

The Party’s First Vice Chairman, Freddie Blay is believed to have called for a National Executive Council [NEC] emergency meeting to discuss issues related to Mr. Afoko.

But New Patriotic Party (NPP) chairman, Paul Afoko, has publicly flayed his deputy Freddie Blay who has called for an emergency meeting without his knowledge.

An incensed Afoko said Blay has no right to call the meeting when he is within the jurisdiction and “available and capable of discharging my constitutionally mandated functions as chairman of the NPP.”

Nonetheless, Hackman Owusu who has been named as one of the “coup makers” to sabotage Paul Afoko is living in fear.

In an interview with NEAT FM’s morning show 'Ghana Montie', the former NPP lawmaker told host Kwasi Aboagye that – some unknown persons have threatened his life via phone calls and text messages.

He is yet to make a formal complaint to the police – but noted that the party’s NEC meeting is not to finalize Afoko’s suspension.
