Abusuapanin Of Aduana Royal Issues Warning

I, OPANIN OWUSU AFRAM, ABUSUAPANIN OF ADUANA FAMILY OF KAASE,KUMASI, With the acknowledge and consent of the Family Elders, DO THEREBY STATE as follows; 1.My said family and I have not nominated, elected or enstooled anyone on the Baayie Saikwan Kumpah stool of Kaase-Kumasi. 2.That, after the death of the late Nana Owusu Yaw Ababio, Kaasahene, We have not appointed any successor to the said stool. 3.That, it has come to our notice that, some unauthorized person is parading himself as Kaase and occupant of the said Baayie Siakwan Kumpah stool. 4.That, this parading comes after high court Judgment in Kumasi/Ashanti (Suit Number LS.1172/88 on Friday November 17,1989 by His Lordship Justice F.M. Lartey. 5.That, all Kaase stool properties, including the new palace, Kaase stool Lands, Kaase stool chieftaincy regalia etc were handed over by Kumasi Traditional council through the High Court Registry(Registrar Dordoye) to Nana Owusu Yaw Ababio as the bona fide properties of the Aduana Royal Family of Kaase-Kumasi in 1990. 6.That, the Asantehene Otumfour Opoku Ware II made an appeal in civil Appeal no.128/190 and lost in 1991.The result, that the tough orders made by Justice Lartey had to be enforced against Otumfour Opoku Ware II and his servants, agents, and privies. 7.That, Asantehene Otumfour Opoku Ware II and his servant, agents and privies were perpetually restrained from holding out himself to be the owner or landlord of the Kaase stool lands. The five fellow defendants were also perpetually restrained from holding themselves out as a committee appointment by Otumfour Opoku Ware II to take charge and control the Kaase stool land. In addition the said committee members were to account to Nana Owusu Yaw Ababio(Kaasehene) within a time limit for rents, profits and capital gains collected from Kaase stool lands. 8.That, although the benefit of the judgments were for the enjoyment of Nana Owusu Yaw Ababio, an intruder who is now in the palace parading himself as Kaasehene from a dfferent family is enjoying the benefits of the judgments, although he is an outsider. 9.We therefore ther by state that, whosoever deals with this person in the new palace in respect of any Kaase stool property contrary to the said judgment now does SO AT HIS OWN RISK.
