Wayne Rooney celebrated his 30th birthday in the company of friends, family and Manchester United team-mates past and present on Sunday night. The England captain had put in another laboured display in the Red Devils' goalless draw with rivals Manchester City and looked rather glum when arriving for his party at the Hilton Hotel in Liverpool later that evening. Rooney's do was well attended by the Croxteth-born forward's team-mates both past and present, but having arrived at the hotel unchanged from his match-day suit, he didn't look particularly in the mood to celebrate.
