Afful Inspired By Tunis Move

Black Stars defender Harrison Afful has described his feelings as 'special' as he plays for the national team for the first time as a foreign-based player this weekend in the 2010 joint qualifiers. The 23-year-old ended his long search for a move abroad by agreeing a deal with Tunisian giants Esperance Sportive du Tunis last month. Afful has enjoyed some monopoly at the left-back role in the Black Stars and he hopes to improve tremendously playing abroad. "Yes it's every player's ambition to play outside and play in one of the biggest teams in Europe. I'm hoping to do better," a delighted Afful said after training with the Black Stars."I'm coping with and things are going on well. I feel like playing at Kotoko." "The fans have accepted me well and make feel at home." Afful was roped into the Black Stars as a member of the final squad picked by Frenchman Claude LeRoy for the last African Cup of Nations on home soil. He has played all but one of the 2010 joint qualifiers.
