They say you should never go back. Jose Mourinho is proving a prime example of why that phrase exists, and is reportedly facing the sack if Chelsea lose to Liverpool.
If that does happen then The Guardian believe Roman Abramovich will try and lure Carlo Ancelotti back to Stamford Bridge. Ancelotti managed Chelsea between 2009 and 2011, winning the Premier League, FA Cup and Community Shield.
However he was sacked after finishing the 2010/11 season nine points behind Man United. Ancelotti would only be a temporary solution while Chelsea supremos try and convince Pep Guardiola to join.
Can Abramovich woo the Italian into having a second spell at Chelsea though?
