Vociferous New Patriotic Party (NPP) member, Hajia Fati, who was arrested by the Police for allegedly playing a role in the Kwabena Agyepong stone pelting attack of Tuesday, has been granted bail.
She was granted bail in the sum of 10,000 Cedis.
Madam Fati was picked up by the Police today to help in investigations into the attack of the General Secretary. Her arrest came hours after stones were pelted at the General Secretary.
Agyepong, who had gone to the Party Headquarters in Asylum Down in Accra Tuesday afternoon for a meeting, was attacked by a mob on his way out. The windscreen of his vehicle was cracked with a stone supposedly thrown by party supporters gathered at the location.
