Born on October 31, 1986 on Palm Street in Calabar, Cross River State, Nigeria, Iyanya has risen to become one of the finest pop acts of his generation.
His mother was a head mistress while his father was a forester. They both died in 2008, his mum was 42 years old and his dad was 50 years old.
With 3 studio albums (My story, Desire and Applaudise) to his credit, Iyanya has a long list of endorsement deals including Solo Phones, Zinox, Yudala, MTN and others.
