Bukom Banku And Ayittey Powers Ready To Battle In Explosive Fisticuffs On Friday

Fan favourites and popular cruiserweight fighters, Braimah Kamoko, aka Bukom Banku and Michael “Ayittey Powers” have tuned up and look battle ready ahead of their respective fights at the Aborigines Beach Resort at Keta this Friday.

The old enemies are scheduled to meet again at the end of the year in what promises to be a cliff-hanger of an encounter, but ahead of that duel the two will fight different opponents on the ‘Rumble in Hogbetsotso’ bill on Friday.

Ayittey Powers will fight tough customer David Okine on the night, while Bukom Banku squares it off with Sylvester Allotey in yet another thrilling encounter.

Landmark Promotions who are staging the two bouts wants the residents of Keta to witness an equally festive boxing atmosphere ahead of the Hogbetsotso festival. The two boxers as they come face-to-face with different opponents would be many a pundits’ dream card to play.

This time, the two boxers have expressed the desire to endear themselves to boxing fans in Volta Region and beyond and have promised them thrilling displays of fisticuffs to boxing fans who will converge on the ringside to watch them.

Another interesting twist to events on the night is that, boxing fans will witness the homecoming of Isaac Dogboey, who, having sojourned in the US for years, will engage hard-hitting George Krampah in a WBO Africa featherweight championship.

Dogboey, who is fast establishing himself as a boxer to reckon with, has won two fights since returning to Ghana, and will thus mount the ring with the sole ambition of overpowering his opponent to win the hearts of home fans.
