"Anas Is Watching" Should Be A Catch Phrase... - NDC Vice-Chair

First National Vice Chairman of the ruling National Democratic Congress, Ofosu Ampofo has urged anti-corruption agencies and all Ghanaians to massively fight against corruption in the country.

According to him, the citizenry should take a cue from ace investigative journalist Anas Aremeyaw Anas and his Tiger Eye PI team.

Speaking on Kokrokoo on Peace FM, Mr. Ofosu Ampofo stressed that the word 'Anas is watching' should become a catch phrase in Ghana and made viral in order to serve as deterrent to corrupt individuals and officials.

Anas is watching should be a watch word. We want to fight corruption. We want to do something. So, then it becomes viral and in every office, Anas is watching becomes the order. We need as a nation to awaken our consciousness to help when someone starts to fight against the rot in the economy. If we can paste that watch word ‘Anas Is Watching’ everywhere for the anti-corruption agencies to follow suit."

To him, the sight of Anas scares people and so, will increase awareness to combat corruption.

Mr. Ofosu Ampofo held strongly that Anas should be used as a yardstick to check this economic canker.

…at least it awakens your consciousness that you do everything right because there is tomorrow. And if care is not taken, the day of accountability will catch up with you.
