Round 3...Amidu "Answers CEO Of Dummy TigerEye" AGAIN!

The interminable polemic exchanges between the country's two leading anti-corruption campaigners does not appear to be ending anytime soon.

In a sharp riposte fired - less than 24hrs - to Anas's rebuttal to his (Amidu's) evidence that government commissioned the two-year judicial corruption investigation, the Citizen Vigilante said ".... The CEO of the fraudulent dummy or shell Tiger Eye or other illegal variant has admitted in paragraph 2 of his response that he has been a paid undercover agent of the Government in several operations. This corroborates my assertion on pages 4 and 5 of my article on defending the citizens’ rights and freedoms".

On Monday, the former Attorney-General issued a statement accusing government of protecting corrupt politicians and sardonically stated that “…What I did not know was that the method of exposing corruption in the judiciary and parliament was going to be through commissioning covert anti-corruptionpreneurs as government agents (to secretly collaborate with established security agencies) to allow for possible deniability. But I do not think that the late President Mills intended to suppress the results of the Parliamentary corruption investigation by compromising it and using only the results of the judicial corruption investigations to damnify the judiciary knowing quite well that whatever results to be obtained will only be the tip of the ice berg.

But the ace investigative journalist strongly denied the assertion in a rejoinder, stating that the two-year anti-corruption investigation was independently conducted by TigerEyePI and challenged Mr Amidu to back up his claims.

Predictably, Mr Amidu took up the gauntlet saying “I stand by everything contained in my statement of today on the attempt to suppress political corruption with the commissioned judicial corruption investigations,” and vowed in another statement that same day that a sequel devoted entirely to TigerEyePI will be published soon.

He did not fail to deliver and by Wednesday, his "further proof" alleging that Anas Arimeyaw Anas’ Tiger Eye PI investigative organisation is not legally registered - a dummy - and government breaking the law by collaborating and sponsoring a fraudulent company, had gone viral.

Not to be left undone, Anas countered by accusing Mr Amidu of "shifting the goal post", "fighting in an empty room" and compelling Tiger Eye to "deal with, are a confused, rambling and incoherent mish-mash of anecdotes, poorly spun yarns, untruths, half-truths, and white lies."

The Tiger Eye CEO however conceded in paragrpah 2 of his (Anas's) reply to Amidu Wednesday that: "Mr. Amidu is right in one, and only one, respect: a company limited by shares, such as we are, is required to state its name with the suffix “Limited” or “Ltd.” Section 15 of the Companies Act is taught to every student of Company Law in this country."

Mr. Amidu, we have confirmed the fact that we have, in times past, collaborated with government agencies. When we have done so, we have been blunt about it. If we had collaborated with the government on this investigation, we would have said so,” he added.

Hours after Anas's sharp riposte, the "Citizen Vigilante" wrote that the two admissions ABOVE have validated his assertion that Tiger Eye is an illegal company hired by government and shifted the burden of proof to Anas.

According to him, if the ace investigative journalist concedes that he has worked with government in previous investigations, then the onus lies on him to prove that he was not paid by government or commissioned by government in his latest investigations in a judiciary scandal that has led to the suspension of seven High Court judges.

"Once he admits to being a covert unlawful Government agent, I have discharged my burden that he has always been one.

"...the onus does not lie on me to prove that in the particular case of the judicial corruption undercover operations he was not acting as an agent for the Government in spite of foot notes 16 and 17 of my article on judicial and political corruption," the lateste epistle read.
