All roads will lead to the Global Cinemas located at the old Weija barrier on Friday November 20, for the worldwide premiere of adventure blockbuster movie “Hunger Games: Mockingjay 2”.

Mockingjay 2 It is the fourth instalment of the Hunger Games series and second of two cinematic parts based on the novel Hunger Games: Mockingjay  The Hunger Games novels have all been developed into films, with the film adaptation of Mockingjay split into two parts.

The other novels in the trilogy are The Hunger Games, and Hunger Games: Catching Fire which have all been released.

Stating the cinema’s preparedness towards the premiere, Mr. Kwaku Cobbinah, Cinema Manager of Global Cinemas expressed his enthusiasm at bringing a world-class movie to customers in Ghana. “It’s always exciting at Global Cinemas. Hunger Games: Mockingjay 2, revolves around Katniss (Jennifer Lawrence) confronting President Snow in the final showdown. Teamed with a group of her closest friends – including Gale, Finnick, and Peeta – Katniss goes off on a mission with the unit from District 13 as they risk their lives to stage an assassination attempt on President Snow who has become increasingly obsessed with destroying her. The mortal traps, enemies, and moral choices that await Katniss will challenge her more than any arena she faced in The Hunger Games.
