Political Science lecturer, Dr Amoako Baah has questioned the credibility of NPP’s beleaguered National Chairman, Paul Afoko to lead the party if his suspension is called off.

According to him, it will be ‘disaster’ if the suspended chairman is given the second chance to lead the NPP again ahead of election 2016.

Dr. Amoako Baah who was speaking on NEAT FM’s morning show Ghana Montie was emphatic that – “The NPP doesn’t need someone like Paul Afoko to lead the party to victory in the 2016 election.”

Afoko had earlier expressed worry in a press conference that – his axe from the NPP is likely to daunt the party’s chances of winning the 2016 election.

But Dr. Amoako Baah noted that the NPP’s reason to suspended Afoko was reasonable – “The actions they [NPP] took is the right action. They do not need such a person to be in charge.”
