NPP Supporters Asked Not To Panic

Supporters and sympathisers of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Northern Region, have been advised not to panic over the internal wrangling within the party since events would normalise to strengthen the party to win power in 2016.

Mr Daniel Bugri Naabu, Northern Regional Chairman of the NPP gave the assurance that the party is firmly united on the ground and is winning the grassroots supporters across the country to vote the National Democracy Congress (NDC) out of power in the 2016 elections.

Mr Naabu, who was addressing supporters of the party at Sawla in the Sawla-Tuna-Kalba District, said the NDC has no message for Ghanaians  after it messed up the economy and made life unbearable.

He described what is happening in the party as a reflection of a true democratic party where supporters agree and disagree on issues and that when a consensus is achieved, it would benefit all Ghanaians, adding: “Don’t panic at all.”

Mr Naabu indicated that the party is poised to win more votes from the constituency level, which would reflect in the national elections to defeat the NDC, and appealed to all youth groups to throw their weight behind the NPP to be counted among the winning team.

He expressed the need for unity to prevail within the party and urged both constituency executives and the supporters to rally behind the Parliamentary candidates to ensure victory.

He underscored the need for the party foot soldiers to work hard at the grassroots level and urge them to work hard to support the parliamentary candidates to victory.
