Renowned Sports Journalist, Patrick Osei Agyemang, affectionately called Countryman Songo has vouched for the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Flagbearer Nana Addo for Presidency, come 2017.

He branded President Mahama as "dull" and earnestly called on Ghanaians to vote Nana Addo into power to salvage the economy, on his sports programme "Fire for Fire".

In his usual fiery style, Countryman Songo released a caustic attack on President John Mahama for failing to deliver on the mandate Ghanaians gave him.

"What President Mahama is doing is not good? He should vacate office if he is dull. If he can't deliver, let him abdicate. Mahama cannot do the job. He has disappointed me.

"I thought Mahama was heavy but Mahama is not heavy. Nana Addo should take over the reins of government. We should vote out Mahama. If he doesn't want us to vote against him, then he should change his leadership ways and how he's governing Ghana. He can't fix the perennial power outages. Mahama will lose...Nana Addo will defeat him," he asserted.
