National Democratic Congress (NDC) lawyer Mr Abraham Amaliba has lost his bid to lead the party in the Bolgatanga Central constituency.

The popular NDC lawyer was beaten by Mr Isaac Adongo, who polled 4,290.

In the fiercely contested contest, Mr Amaliba polled 3,050 votes while Emmanuel Opam and George Gamson had 2,956 and 906 respectively.
