UEFA Champs League: Barcelona, Bayern Through, Chelsea, Arsenal Alive

Barcelona and Bayern through as group winners after comfortable victories. Zenit also clinch first place in their group with fifth victory Arsenal, Dynamo Kyiv, Gent and Chelsea manage crucial wins. Group E BATE Borisov 1-1 Bayer Leverkusen Mikhail Gordeichuk's second-minute shot slipped through the grasp of Bernd Leno to give BATE the lead but midway through the second half Admir Mehmedi, on the volley, made it a goal in his last five European appearances to ensure Leverkusen stayed a point clear of BATE in third. Barcelona 6-1 Roma Already qualified thanks to the result in Belarus, Barcelona made sure of first place as Lionel Messi netted twice on his first start since injury. Luis Surez also struck two to become the competition's joint-top scorer on five while Gerard Piqu and Adriano got in on the act, the latter on the rebound after a saved Neymar spot kick. Roma, for whom Edin Deko missed a late penalty but then scored, still know a victory at home to BATE on 9 December would clinch second spot regardless of Leverkusen's result against Barcelona. Group F Arsenal 3-0 Dinamo Zagreb Arsenal remain in contention after Mesut zil's goal was added to by two from Alexis Snchez. The result means Dinamo will finish fourth in the section. Bayern Mnchen 4-0 Olympiacos Bayern wrapped up qualification as group winners courtesy of goals in the first 20 minutes by Douglas Costa, Robert Lewandowski and Thomas Mller, the latter two moving on to five for the season. Although Holger Badstuber was sent off early in the second half, the outstanding Kingsley Coman got a fourth. Olympiacos will still go through unless they lose at home to Arsenal by any score other than 1-0 or 2-1. Group G Porto 0-2 Dynamo Kyiv Dynamo moved to within two points of joint leaders Porto following a penalty by Andriy Yarmolenko and a goal from Derlis Gonzlez. That second strike means Dynamo will definitely progress if they win at home to Maccabi. Maccabi Tel-Aviv 0-4 Chelsea Chelsea joined matchday six visitors Porto on ten points after efforts from Gary Cahill, Willian, Oscar and Kurt Zouma. Maccabi, who lost former Chelsea player Tel Ben-Haim to a red card, are now out of Europe. Group H Zenit 2-0 Valencia Goals from Oleg Shatov and Artem Dzyuba, his fifth in the competition this term, kept up the season's only perfect record and confirmed Zenit as group winners. Lyon 1-2 Gent The early result meant Lyon knew a victory would keep them in the hunt but a superb free-kick equaliser by Danijel Milicevic cancelled out Jordan Ferri's seventh-minute opener and Kalifa Coulibay scored with the very last kick in a European game at Stade de Gerland. Gent are now a point above Valencia so will advance if they beat Zenit on 9 December or if Valencia fail to defeat eliminated Lyon.
