The deputy Ghana captain believes his brother is beginning to settle in his new home and would soon find his form.
Swansea winger Andre Ayew says his younger brother, Jordan, will hit the ground running as the English Premier League season progresses.
The siblings played together during their time at French side Marseille until January 2014 when Jordan departed for Sochaux on loan, having struggled for playing time.
Back from his six-month loan stint, the 24-year-old permanently transferred to Lorient in July 2014.
Last summer, the Ayews departed France for the United Kingdom. While Andre moved to Welsh side Swansea, Jordan joined English outfit Aston Villa.
“It’s true that his [Jordan] beginnings were complicated with the new staff, a new team and a new country,” Andre told French radio RMC.
“I’m not worried. In the past four or five matches, he’s scored two goals.
“It took a little time but he’s really starting to get into it and when I talk to him, he feels at ease, at home and that’s good.
“I think he really has the qualities to explode in this championship. I hope that one day, if we can, we’ll play again together for the same club.”
With six goals to his name after 13 matches in the English topflight, Andre has been linked with a move away from the Jacks - barely five months into his contract.
“Swansea gave me everything that I wanted, in terms of football and money,” Andre noted.
“Now, I am ambitious and we will see what happens.”
Andre’s exploits have earned him the English Premier League Player for August as well as Swansea City Player for August and October.
