A Fetish Priest at Osubeto near Okorase in the Akuapem North Municipality of the Eastern Region has been dragged to court for allegedly stabbing an 18-year-old Senior High School graduate.

The fetish priest has been granted GH¢ 10,000.00 bail by the Koforidua Circuit Court B when he appeared before court on Tuesday, the Daily Heritage has gathered.

The victim is seeking medical treatment at the Regional Hospital in Koforidua.

The suspect allegedly stabbed the chest of the victim who visited him at his shrine without provocation.

According to the prosecutor, the victim who also stays at Osubeto met the suspect in the company of his friend and asked him to give him a drink he was holding.

The suspect asked the victim to accompany him to his shrine and while on the way, the suspect got drunk and was carried to the shrine by the victim.

While at the shrine at around 8pm, the suspect sneaked in the darkness to stab the suspect. The case was reported to the police and the suspect was arrested.
