This Power Badge Issue Is Ridiculously Ridiculous!

In fact, it is so shameful. Four good years to bring just a temporary power badge yet to be installed? Aah how?

And this 250Megawatt power capacity power badge can’t trust start generating power all out immediately. Preparing the grounds, installing power transformers to step up the generated voltage and installing the power transmission cables to able to connect the generated power unto the national grid will take not less than three months even from now that they say the so called power badge is in Ghana shores.

Not physically seen yet, but believe the power badge is a bit far on the sea, though on Ghana’s shores, according to the Energy Minister is quite unbelievable. Holding a National celebration for this, just because we’re told it is on Ghana’s shores, then what will happen when it generates its first 1MW? Would be National Holiday, I guess?

Power badges are usually used temporarily in warring country where all the existing power plants have been damaged or destroyed. Is Ghana in war? Are the exiting power plants in Ghana been destroyed? I just don’t get it at all.

In my estimation, Ghana currently needs more than 680MW continuous power flow in addition to the existing power generation, in order to half the Dumsor or bring it down to a barely minimum.

The power situation has becomes apparently difficult to manage all due to total mismanagement of the NDC/Mahama useless government.

If we cannot get money to buy fuel for the existing thermal plants in Ghana; if we cannot pay the arrears to Nigeria to be supplied with gas, if we cannot get money to buy parts to maintain the turbines that have catastrophically broken down at the Akosombo; then where is the probability that Ghana will be able to get over $7m per week to buy fuel to run this power badge in Ghana today? I simply don’t get it.

This is shameful and it shows how useless this government has been. Mahama and his ministers have absolutely no clue of how to manage this energy situation in Ghana.

Obviously, Mahama government cannot do anything substantial about it. It needs serious people in the helm of affairs in Ghana.

This Mahama government is just so useless that, even if you give him another 10 years in power, with all the money in the world, he will continue to misappropriate the funds with his unscrupulous ministers and continue to mess up things. Simple!!
