Accra Hearts of Oak coach Kenichi Yatsuhashi has admitted playing a role in the team’s sponsorship deal with Japanese Company Polar Electro.

The Japanese trainer is alleged to have facilitated the deal for the Rainbow Club.

Yatsuhashi on Tuesday posted a picture of himself on Social media (Twitter) appreciating the sponsorship package from the Japanese firm.

“I appreciate Polar Electro Japan for their supplier support!  Hearts of Oak is Polar official sponsored team,” he posted on his official twitter page @ keni_yats_coach.

The manager in an interview with Accra-based Asempa FM admitted playing a role in the deal.

“I was not part of the deal but I made some few calls,” he said.

“There were some few contacts with some people but I was not part of the agreement.”

“The deal was signed between officials of the Club and Polar Electro.”

The deal which does not involve monetary package is expected to see Hearts take delivery of some items and equipments from the firm.
