'Im Tired Of Fame"-Ramzey Nouah

Nollywood actor Ramsey Nouah has confirmed reports that he indeed said he was tired of being famous and wished he could have his private life back. The light-skinned actor told a section of Ghanas media including NEWS-ONE during a press soiree organized for him and his two other colleagues last Friday at the Royal Richester Hotel at East Legon that he has regretted been in the limelight. I just dont enjoy fame anymore. I feel very sorry for those in Hollywood. Today, I blame America for the death of Michael Jackson and nobody else. I blame the entire system. Everybody just gets up and criticizes us, forgetting that we are human beings and we also have our flaws like any other persons have their flaws. I wish I am never known. I wish I have my normal life back, have my children and my money and leave a normal life. I will be happier than I am now, he said. Ramsey has been in Ghana for some days now and is currently on set for a movie titled, Forbidden, being produced by Ghanaian actress, Luckie Lawson. The press conference was thus to introduce the cast of the movie to the press. At the ceremony were one of Nollywoods goddesses, Chika Ike, who is playing Aisha in the movie and Jimmy Bangura, the director. Ramsey is playing Dave, husband to Keller, played by Luckie. Though Dave is rich he is not being supportive of his wife. This sets Keller out to struggle for success and make Dave come to his senses. How Chika Ike and new faces such as Martha Ankoma and Stacy of TV3s Music Music fame come in, are things movie enthusiasts should watch out for. Ramsey Nouah, who has a lot of movies to his credit, answering a question posted by NEWS-ONE, said he is planning to leave the movie scene in the not-too-distant future. I want to leave when expectations are high. I dont want to leave when everybody is sick and tired of Ramsey and actually want me to get out before I leave. I will leave in due time, he said. But the father of two said before he does that, I have a strong record I want to leave. I want to leave very strong five movies that will forever remain in the archives of Nollywood; that my grand children will come and see, their grandfather was a star. Until then I am still on board the movie industry. He added that the five movies he wanted to leave behind would be movies from his own production.
