Tagoe To Fight WBA Eliminator Next Year

Ghana's Emmanuel Tagoe is schedule to fight for the World Boxing Authority (WBA) Lightweight eliminator in Ghana next year.

The fight billed for March 4, 2016, will give the Ghanaian the opportunity to take a shot at the world title, if he is able to overcome the challenge from the unnamed competitor.

Mr. Solomon Otoo, a Match Maker in Ghana, who disclosed this to the GNA Sports, said he would lead a three man delegation to Panama for the WBA convention fixed for December 13-19.

He told the GNA sports that, Alex Ntiamoah, Chief Executive Officer of Box Office Promotions and Randy Prince Opoku Afriyie of Baby Jet Promotions are scheduled to embark on the trip with him to commence negotiations for the fight.

He said the delegation will use the opportunity to discuss the future of the promising Ghanaian boxer and conclude a deal for him.
Acccording to Mr. Otoo, will depart Accra on December 12 a for the convention and return on December 20.

Tagoe presently holds the WBA International Lightweight Title, International Boxing Federation (IBF), Intercontinental Super featherweight and World Boxing Organisation (WBO) Super Featherweight titles as well as the national champion in the Featherweight division.
