Motorists who use the Adomi Bridge to connect to their various destinations in the Eastern and Volta regions can now heave a sigh of relief.
The bridge is expected to reopen to vehicular traffic this Saturday after almost two years of closure.
Rehabilitation works on the Adomi Bridge began in March 2014 by the Austrian Construction and Engineering firm, Bilfinger MCE GmbH.
PEACE FM reporter, Naana Ntiri has been speaking to authorities and supervisors of the rehabilitation project and they are confident that by Saturday, everything will be ready as they are only putting finishing touches.
Meanwhile, President John Mahama is set to commission the project on Saturday 19th December, 2015.
