The Management of Technology Distribution (TD) Limited, a leading ICT distribution company in West Africa, in collaboration with APC by Schneider Electric, has officially launched the APC Service Centre in Accra.
The service centre is to provide customers and end users of the APC by Schneider Electric products, the opportunity to repair and replace their equipment (accessories), warranty extension.
Customers of APC could also extend the warranty of their products before its expiry date; as well as other related services.
Mrs Adesuwa Igho- Orere, the General Manager for Sales and Marketing, TD, in an interview with the Ghana News Agency in Accra, said TD as a distribution company has partnered APC for the past 16 years, however, users of APC products by way of request; need support for their products.
She said the service centre would not only provide repairs and maintenance services, but would go a long way to cement the relationship between the IT distribution firm and its partners, as well as customers.
She noted that TD limited has been in the Ghanaian market for 10 years, delivering quality products and services, crowned with a mission of creating stability in terms of IT products.
Mrs Igho-Orere said TD works with world renowned Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM)’s like Hp, APC by Schneider, Microsoft, Canon, Lenovo, Dell, IBM, and Toshiba.
She described the company, as having a pedigree in distribution and is not only a logistics service partner, but also offers support to all products in the brand basket.
She explained that her company aside the support, develops the channel by organising workshops to train partners and keep them updated with modern technology; all geared towards increasing sales of partners.
Mr Ayo Adeboye, Vice President of the IT Business of APC Schneider Electric, West Africa, said with an APC service centre in Ghana, the motivation has been the commitment shown by TD limited, as one its distributors.
He said considering most of its business partners, retailers and end users, it is impossible for APC not to establish a service centre to address their needs, adding: “It is gap we are planning to cover, and fortunately TD has filled it.”
He therefore, commended TD limited for investing in capacity building, to invest in people who are being trained by APC, to offer services as direct extension of APC by Schneider Electric.
APC by Schneider Electric, formerly known as American Power Conversion Corporation, is a manufacturer of uninterruptible power supplies, electronics peripherals and data center products.
