Mr Kwabena Kusi Okyere and Mr Ben Ohene Ayeh were sworn into office as new Municipal Chief Executives for New Juaben and Nsawam/Adoagyiri Municipal Assemblies respectively by the Eastern Regional Minister, Mr Antwi- Boasiako Sekyere.
The two took the oath of allegiance, oath of secrecy and the official oath.
Addressing the two new MCEs, Mr Sekyere said the duties of MCE required tact, diplomacy, cooperation, teamwork and effective communication.
He said they would be required to work with other political parties apart from the ruling party and advised them to always remember that they were representing the interest of all the inhabitants of the area.
