Kingston Faces Hearts Sack

According to the BBC Sports, Hearts manager, Csaba Laszlo has warned Black Stars midfielder Laryea Kingston that he will not play for the club if he does not show commitment to the side. The midfielder turned out twice to play for Ghana in the past week, despite not having been fit enough to feature for the Tynecastle club this season. We would like to handle the situation very clearly. You can do this at an amateur club, but the door is always open for him to go out, Laszlo emphasized. It is the second time this year that Kingston has defied Laszlo's wishes to play for Ghana. If you are a professional player, your duty is to improve every day and give 120 percent in training. It is also our duty as a club to defend ourselves and tell everybody we are not here to pay wages to look after Kingstons fitness. He can come and tell us that he dont have any passion for the club, Laszlo reiterated. Laszlo had a brief spell as an assistant coach for Hungary and was also the head coach of Uganda. You are an employee of the club and must also perform for your national team. I was myself a national coach and my duty was also to go and talk to club managers and coaches. I picked players who were in the best form, but to ignore the club at this level is very strange for me and I think it is not okay. This club is not for Laryea Kingston; it is Hearts of Midlothian, he added.
