The Ghana Football Association (GFA), has commenced the 4th Nationwide implementation of the Federation of International Football Association (FIFA 11) for Health project in Accra and Brong Ahafo Region.

The project which was launched in Ghana by Samuel Eto’o and Prof Dvorak, will run till Friday 8th January, with 180 Physical Education teachers expected to be trained in Accra and Sunyani.

According to the GFA, the programme will move to Wa and Bolgatanga from 11th to 15th January where another batch 180 Physical Education teachers will be trained.

The GFA said, the trained Physical Education (PE) Teachers will go back to their various schools and implement the programme over an 11 week period and 360 schools will be covered Nationwide.

FIFA 11 for Health is a football based health education programme which is being implemented in collaboration with the Ministry of Youth and Sports, Ministry of Education and Ministry of Health.
